Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Merchant of Record (MoR)

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. They securely process your payments, handle invoicing, and manage the subscription billing platform for CV.dot.

2. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your CV.dot subscription (Pro or Premium) at any time. We use Lemon Squeezy's automated customer portal for hassle-free cancellations. To cancel your subscription, you can either:

  • Click the "Manage Subscription" link found at the bottom of the email receipt you received from Lemon Squeezy after your purchase.
  • Log in directly to the Lemon Squeezy Customer Portal using the email address associated with your purchase.

Once you cancel, you will not be billed for the following month. Your Pro or Premium features will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle.

3. Refund Policy

At CV.dot, we offer a robust "Free forever" tier so you can thoroughly test our core CV optimization features before upgrading. Furthermore, our advanced Pro and Premium features (such as AI Cover Letter Generation) incur direct and irreversible costs for AI processing (LLM tokens) every time they are used. Therefore, our refund policy is as follows:

  • No Refunds for Subscription Renewals: We do not offer refunds or prorated refunds for any unused time or credits in the current billing cycle once a monthly charge has been processed.
  • Initial Purchase Exception: If you experience severe technical issues that prevent the extension from working immediately after your initial upgrade, please contact our support team at support@cv-dot.com within 7 days. We will review these requests and may issue a refund at our sole discretion via the Lemon Squeezy platform.

4. Payment Disputes

If you believe there has been a billing error, please reach out to our support team first before opening a dispute with your bank or credit card company. We will work with Lemon Squeezy to resolve the issue promptly.
